With a track record of over 45 years in the industry, Dessalator is the leader and pioneer in the design and manufacture of watermakers in the boating world.
In the early 80s, Dessalator’s founder, Mr Patrick Wagner, designed the world’s first 12 and 24V watermaker, which at the time produced around 30 litres of drinking water per hour, which was considerable in its day. It was already an absolute technical revolution, enabling boat owners to be self-sufficient.
A few years later, Dessalator invented and patented the DUO dual-energy watermaker. These models are equipped with 2 motors, allowing them to operate on either alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) with the same equipment.
Innovation is still one of Dessalator’s core values.
